David Mashuri is a Principal and Head of Central Asia at Pedersen & Partners. He joined the firm in 2008. Previously, he was managing projects for the real estate consulting firm Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis and prior to that he held a position of an American Express Card Acquiring Manager at JSC Kazkommertsbank in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Mr Mashuri is a licensed Realtor in the state of Arizona where he worked with Century 21 from 2005 until 2007. Before, he was managing his company D.M. Security Investments founded in 1997 in Los Angeles, USA specialising on health care and travel services.

David Mashuri holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, USA and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Russian People's Friendship University in Moscow, Russia. In addition to his native Uighur, he speaks fluent English and Russian and can converse in Arabic and Kazakh languages.
