Janet Chen

Janet Chen is the Country Manager for China at Pedersen & Partners based in Shanghai. She has over 16 years of experience in Executive Search, talent acquisition and career consulting services. Before joining the company she held senior level positions with focus in business development, SOP planning and team building. Ms. Chen commenced her Executive Search career with a multinational search firm as a consultant since 1995 in Taiwan. In 2000 she joined a newly start-up Executive Search firm as Executive Search Director for business development, key account management, RPO project management and outplacement service for various clients in  IT/Telecom, EMS/MFG, FMCG and Banking sectors.

Ms. Chen earned her B.A degree in English & Linguistics from National Cheng Chi University in Taiwan and advanced her EMBA online study at National Taiwan University before relocating to China in 2005. Additionally, she holds a certificate from the Human Resources Director Program from Jiao Tong University in Shanghai. She speaks native Cantonese and Mandarin and is fluent in English.
