Mr. de Freitas is an experienced Executive Search professional with over 15 years in the Asia-Pacific region, including a decade in Shanghai, where he has advised clients on executive talent attraction in the Consumer and Technology sectors, as well as at their intersection. He has extensive experience supporting multinational corporations, as well as regional companies expanding globally – from PE/VC-backed firms to listed and family-owned enterprises.
Mr. de Freitas partners with clients to build senior leadership teams for transformation, growth, and internationalisation strategies. His expertise spans cross-border executive search and leadership advisory with mandates ranging from C-Suite and board appointments to senior functional leadership roles. He has also been actively engaged in the Swedish business community in Greater China, most recently serving as a Board Director for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and is frequently invited to speak on developments in the global talent market.
Mr. de Freitas studied Business, Economics, and Chinese at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, and graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai. He speaks English, Swedish, and Mandarin Chinese, and has a working knowledge of Danish and Norwegian.
