Peter Lisney is Client Partner and Country Manager for Malaysia at Pedersen & Partners, based in Kuala Lumpur. He has over 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory across Southeast Asia. Peter supports clients in financial services—banking, insurance, capital markets—and industrial sectors to appoint board and C-suite leaders and build high-performing teams. Before joining Pedersen & Partners, he founded and led a boutique search firm in Kuala Lumpur. Earlier, he served as Regional General Manager for an engineering group in the Middle East. He held senior roles in Southeast Asia and Mexico, giving him a strong operator’s perspective alongside search expertise.
Peter holds a BSc in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham and an MSc in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde. He works in English and Swedish.
