Valeria Cantir is an HR Associate at Pedersen & Partners, based in Chisinau, Moldova. She supports a broad range of human resources activities across the firm's international offices, contributing to talent acquisition, employee lifecycle processes, HR operations, employee engagement initiatives, as well as internal HR projects.
Ms. Cantir joined Pedersen & Partners in 2021 as a Research Analyst before transitioning into Human Resources as an HR Analyst and being promoted to HR Associate in 2024. Her background across research and HR functions has provided her with a strong understanding of the firm's operations and international talent landscape.
Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, Ms. Cantir gained experience in customer-facing and educational roles, developing strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills that support her ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to people-focused initiatives.
Ms. Cantir holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Free International University of Moldova. In addition to her native Romanian, she is fluent in English and Russian, with conversational knowledge of German and Spanish.
